This Cabernet is a classic example of “restraint” in a varietal that has become known more for power and ripeness. 2017 was a great vintage that allowed for full phenolic ripeness due to a cool second half of September which allowed for extended hangtime with minimal sugar accumulation.
All of the wines from this vintage show a lot of freshness and balance.
