The Mambourg terroir, ever reputed since the Middle Age is dominating Sigolsheim and is composed of marl and limestone mainly. These caracteristics provide a rare and nice tannic power. Extremely complex. This is an exquisite Grand Cru wine which can be kept in cellar for 15 to 20 years Grapes: Pinot Gris, Noir, Meunier, Blanc and Beurot.
Fits perfectly with a farm poultry such as capon or chicken in cream perfumed with mushrooms and truffles. Perfect with a comté.
