Alpha Omega Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega was well received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with a mild blueberry and blackberry bouquet with hints of red beets, plum and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, velvety and elegant. The flavor profile is a mild mineral influenced plum and black cherry blend with hints of spice, raspberry, and dark chocolate. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show finesse as they drift away. 

Brightly woven in cassis and black raspberry, this is a blockbuster wine, sumptuous and seductive in enviable structure and complexity. Polished tannins wrap around a rich, balanced core of rounded fruit, with a bite of cedar and oak vying for attention.
