It has been said that in crisis, there lies opportunity. In 2011, a group of friends all working in wine decided to embrace that idea by forming an alliance - Alias. We navigated the twisting corridors and dark alleyways of the Corporate Wine Industry to craft the best wines possible, and to do it efficiently, affordably, and intelligently. Great wine for the people.
In an age of duplicity, this wine has nothing to hide. Juicy, fruit forward notes of blueberry and cassis are balanced with soft hints of tobacco, vanilla, and a light cedar finish. Honest as Abe, this straight shooter is an excellent table wine, perfect to pair with dinner or to enjoy on its own.
In the glass, this Cabernet Sauvignon is beautifully deep garnet in color. Notes of ripe, dark fruit are forward on the nose, followed by notes of light leather and pomegranate reduction. On the palate, bright acidity and lively tannins bounce across the tongue, finishing with warm flavors of vanilla and leather.
