A beautiful expression of the Carignan grape. Smooth tannins with a great acidic backbone. Intense, elegant notes of black fruit, bitter cocoa, spices and flowers, alongside a deep note of liquorice. On the background, this sophisticated Carignan from Montsant suggests some mineral overtones and notions of smoke and toast. Bitter chocolate, aromatic herbs, red berries and mineral remembrances. Mild tannins, good focus, smooth texture and refreshing acidity. Long, complex finish.
