This wine comes from one of the best slopes of Tonnerrois: The Cote des Griseys on the finish of Epineuil. At all times, we have produced great white wines, round, powerful, robust and able to age well. It will accompany very well your tartiflettes, your andouillettes or a seared foie gras.
This Burgundy Epineuil Côte de Grisey 2014 Domaine Alain Mathias is a red wine made from 100% Pinot Noir, certified organic agriculture (AB), from a single plot located on the vineyard of Epineuil, Côte des Griseys, and aged in oak barrels.
It has a deep garnet red color and a complex nose of chocolate, blackcurrant and liquorice aromas. On the palate, the balance is perfect with roundness and structure and a nice finish. A wine of guard which one will be able to taste until after 15 to 20 years of conservation in cellar.
