The Lutzeltal is a lieu-dit situated on the hillside of Strangenberg. It forms the southeast part of Strangenberg.Because of its form which follows the path of the sun, it bathes all day long in its beneficial rays. Its soil is a conglomeration of yellow sandstone and oolithic limestone.
This stony soil is very permeable and the vine has barely enough time to absorb water. The grape bunches stay small and concentrated. onion tart, quiche lorraine, paté in pastry crust, sausages ( Morteau, Strasbourg, Montbéliard), potato salad with lardons.
