Bordeaux style wine with powerful nose of tobacco and chocolate. It is elegant, well rounded, and velvety - tasting of red fruit and coconut. The finish is exceptionally long. Outstanding.

Tasted at the special tasting of Terravino contest medal winners. This is gold medalist red blend special reserve from 1848 winery. Very dark ruby color, black currant, plum, cacao on the nose. Sweet dense tannins, full body, and tasty finish. This is the red wine I liked the most at this tasting.
