IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS

Thanks to the success of the first Widow Jane release, Cacao Prieto has now added a seven year old expression to their impressive portfolio. As with the five year old bottling, Cacao Prieto hand-selected a barrel of seven year old Kentucky Bourbon, which was transported to their Brooklyn distillery and cut to proof with pure limestone mineral rich water from the Widow Jane Mine in Rosendale, New York. An inviting nose of toffee, caramel and dried fruit leads to a complex, medium-bodied palate offering bold notes of ripe cherry and citrus fruit. Hints of burnt orange and baking spice emerge on the light tannic finish.
