The Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru "Les Baudines" site is located in the southern part of the Chassagne appellation and is right next to the Premier Crus "La Comme" and "Les Gravières". This vineyard, re-cultivated in the early sixties, was completely abandoned after the phylloxera crisis due to its distance from the village. The truffle-bearing oaks that grew there had a diameter of 40-50 cm, which indicates a long period of non-use.
