Thomas Morey Beaune Greves 2018

The Beaune Greves cru is known for its unique sandy soils and for holding the special "Vigne de l'Enfant Jesus" parcel. Morey's holdings have been under his family's care since the 60s and span the length of the cru. The quality of the vintage makes this a wine for the cellar, with 20% new oak it adds just the right touch of strength and nuance to match the deep red fruit, spice tones and structure of the wine.

Morey’s Beaune 1er cru “Les Grèves,” and shows more elegance and minerality than the Santenay. This is Côte de Beaune at its most precise and subtle — bright red cherry fruits and a lively, energetic mouthfeel.
