• Tequila produced in El Medineño, Jalisco, by Familia Landeros (NOM 1599) • Maestro Tequilero René Carranza • 100% Azul aka Blue Weber (Agave tequilana) • Cooked over 24 hours using an autoclave • Crushed using a small roller mill • Natural fermentation using ambient yeast, 6–8 days in open-air stainless steel vats • Distilled twice using stainless steel pot stills • Aged 13 months in medium-char, ex-bourbon barrels • Rich and luxurious with generous aromas of melted butter, black peppercorn, roasted yams, caramelized carrots, cinnamon, vanilla bean, allspice, stewed cherries and blackberries, and the vaguest scent of new mahogany furniture • Verified additive free by Tequila Matchmaker • 40% ABV Though rested barely more than a year, this añejo registers among our most decadent and generous agave spirits. Exploding with a buttery warmth that evokes the coziest of comforts on the coldest of nights, Atanasio’s careful production and aging shine in this welcoming and thoughtful expression.
