Perricone is a Sicilian grape that almost disappeared, and Tasca d'Almerita keeps it going at Tenuta Regaleali. Spicy and floral to start, white pepper and violets, then black olive and graphite behind. Wild strawberry and black cherry on the palate with stones and wild herbs, firm-grained tannins and plenty of acidity.
