Beautiful purple color. Smooth finish but a little less flavorful then expected from a Chianti. Lovely dark plum and dust nose with balanced acidity finishing with a few notes of raisin.

This wine has all of the beautiful characteristics of a fine Sangiovese. Some fruit,mostly cherry but with a distinctive tartness. The wine also has a nice earthy body with a short very finite finish.
