This appealing and full-bodied wine is filled to the brim with plump, generous black-fruit and baking-spice flavors that are well-concentrated and wrapped in a blanket of fine-grained tannins. A new offering from E. & J. Gallo, it has very good depth and length without being heavy.

A very deep color and concentrated blackberry flavors give this full-bodied wine a big impact. Berry compote and light touches of maple and wood smoke waft from the glass, then deep dark fruit flavors coat the palate while a moderately tannic texture helps balance the profusion of almost-sweet fruit.
