This is a half bottle, 375ml, of Stags' Leap Winery Cabernet Sauvignon from the 2023 vintage, one of the historic estates of Napa Valley.
The fruit comes from the Stags Leap District and surrounding Napa Valley vineyards. Expect black cherry, blackberry and cassis, with notes of cocoa, spice and cedar, a medium-to-full body and smooth tannins. The style leans toward balance rather than sheer power. It is a polished, approachable Napa Cabernet that drinks well young.
The half bottle is the right size for two glasses, or a dinner where you want a good red without opening a full bottle. Serve it around 62-65F with steak, lamb chops or a burger.
