• A novel sloe gin produced by Hans Resietbauer in Axberg, Austria • Distilled from 100% organic, estate-grown Mulan winter wheat and organic sloe berries which are gently pressed and macerated in Reisetbauer Blue Gin for 6 weeks • Triple-distilled in a Christian Carl copper pot still • 27 botanicals sourced from 14 countries featuring juniper, lemon peel, orange peel, angelica root, coriander seed, turmeric, cardamom, cinnamon, licorice root, and hops are incorporated via maceration between the second and third distillation of the base Blue Gin • Proofed down with fresh sloe berry juice; contains only 6 grams per liter of naturally occurring residual sugar with no added sweetener • A low level of sugar allows the natural tannins of the slow berries to come to the fore, complemented by flavors of coriander, lemon zest, and mint; tart and tannic with a slightly astringent, drying quality • 28% ABV Dismiss any preconceived notions you may have about sloe gin—this elegant expression is nothing like the cloying versions you may have experienced in yesteryears.
