• Aged Jamaican rum finished in ruby port wine casks produced at Worthy Park Estate in St. Catherine Parish, Jamaica • Jamaican Rum geographical indication (GI) • 100% molasses from estate-grown sugarcane • Distilled on a Forsyths double retort copper pot still • Aged 10 years; distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2020 • Rum spent 8 years in ex-bourbon barrels and 2 years in casks that previously held ruby port wine • Aromas of sweet caramel mixed with banana and raspberry; dried tropical fruit and raisins mingle with cassis jam on the palate with Port wine emerging notably on the finish • 45% ABV The Worthy Park Special Cask Series offers the experience of traditional Jamaica rum elaborated with the aromas and flavors imparted by secondary maturation in rare cask selections, non-chill filtered with no color additives.
