Sattlerhof Sauvignon Blanc 2020

Sauvignon Blanc Südsteiermark was hand-harvested from very steep hillside vineyards near Gamlitz and vinification occurred in stainless-steel tanks with 3-4 months of aging on its lees before bottling. The wine shows ripe stone fruit flavors while still being light, lively, and highly aromatic thanks to the cooling influence of the Alps.

Sauvignon Blanc pairs well with salad greens and other sharp ingredients like tomatoes and vinaigrettes. Sautéed white fish, oysters, smoked salmon, and foods flavored with fresh herbs all work well with Sauvignon Blanc. Styrian Sauvignon Blanc pairs well with charcuterie and other simple fare found in the region’s Buschenschank or wine taverns.
