On organoleptic examination, it has a rather dull garnet red appearance in the glass. The perfume is rich and has an olfactory profile marked by delicacy, with fruity notes reminiscent of plums, red cherries and plums. In the finish, notes of dried fruits. The taste in the mouth is balanced, soft, with a good acid vein and discreet tannins. Good perseverance.
A wine that is the ideal companion to typical dishes of Valtellina crotti, mixed plates of raw ham and Valtellina bresaola, cheeses such as bitto, and grilled or stewed red meats. The ideal serving temperature is 18° C. It should be poured into a large, tall wine glass.
