An excellent value for money in this malbec from vineyards in the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo (mainly Agrelo), between 1,000 and 1,200 meters.
Fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for six months with oak staves, this shows a tense and firm side of malbec, perhaps far from the caricature of the sweet and creamy wines of the past. This one, to the contrary, has firm tannins, juicy acidity, and plenty of tense black fruits in a red to shine with a barbecue.
