Predominantly Merlot, with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc providing back up. Roc de Segur sports a dark purple color. The nose reveals red cherry and raspberry aromas. It is fresh and smooth, with good structure and mild tannins. A Bordeaux bargain!

The name Segur is legendary in Bordeaux at one time they were largest owner of vineyards in Bordeaux, including three of the First Growths (Lafite, Latour, and Mouton). This Chateau Roc de Segur is a blend of 55% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc bringing home that classic style with savory notes of black currant, spice, and black pepper.
