Remy Martin Cognac Louis XIII |
Wine Enthusiast 90 points - The aroma features fig, prune, pastry dough, honey, and maple scents. On the palate, Louis XIII offers long and intensely woody flavors; additional layers of flavor, including figs, dates, prunes, dried apricot, and vanilla, are featured at midpalate. Finishes elegantly, warm, smooth, and oakier than fruity succulent.
Blended from 1,200 Eaux-de-vie exclusively from the Grande Champagne region, and aged up to 100 years in century-old tiercon barrels, LOUIS XIII is the rarest spirit in the world. Four generations of cellar masters have succeeded each other to produce a cognac with unparalleled aromatic richness and the most complex flavor palate ever achieved.
There are more than 250 discrete flavors that an attentive taster might identify, but never all on the same occasion. Each encounter with Louis XIII will be a fresh discovery.

Item received was not like one showing on website
not good, the bottle we received was not like the one in the photo and we are planning to return it. It's a $4,000 item, not like a $40, this is not acceptable.
