Using a combination of American oak and madeira wine casks gives this a concentrated nose of sweet tropical fruits; think papaya, clementine, raspberry, canned peaches, caramel, and pecan. The cask strength is quite hot and intense, with flavors of citrus peel, peach, grilled pineapple, and passion fruit, though hard candy notes appear with the addition of water.
