The 2018 Syrah (Central Coast) is bright, fruity and very easy to like. I would prefer to drink this vinous Syrah over the next few years, while the fruit retains its youthful energy. Sweet red/purplish berry fruit, mint, spice, rose petal and lavender build into the exuberant finish.

This wine shows abundant black fruit and a hint of minerality in its aromas and flavors. Pair it with a well-seasoned lamb stew.
