• Bitter apéritif liqueur produced by Vicario Spirits in Greer, South Carolina • Named after the chinchona plant, native to the Andes, Vicario Quina is crafted with a blend of aromatic herbs to bring balance to the notoriously bitter quinine • Produced using 100% non-GMO neutral wheat spirit • The aroma is spicy, with notes of coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg and caramel. On the palate, Vicario Quina Liqueur offers notes of citrus, smoke and balsamic • 30% ABV Historically, quinine extract was made from chinchona bark to ward against malaria and other ailments. Vicario Quina ups the ante with a medley of confectionary spices and aromatic herbs, elevating the complexity of this Quina.
