All Primitivo from vines of fifteen to twenty-five years around Manduria, most trained as alberello bush vines and so picked by hand. A week on skins, six months in large oak casks, then another six in bottle. Deep ruby with violet at the rim. Ripe dark cherry, plum and raspberry with toast and spice, warm and juicy but finishing dry.
