DESCRIPTION

Wine Enthusiast 97 points - This offers rich caramel, hazelnut and cocoa aromas on the nose. The palate echoes those luscious flavors, but also layers walnut, cocoa powder and hints of orange and grapefruit peel, while allspice warms the finish. Aged first in Barbados, then in ex-Cognac casks at the Ferrand estate in France..June/2019

Ultimate Beverage Challenge 94 points - (UB Collection,Finalist)- Pretty rosy amber in the glass. Rich, sweet and pretty bourbon-y oak notes on the nose. Very rich and sweet with brown sugar, caramel, chocolate and coconut flavors bouncing around. Quite long on the finish. Dessert!.March/2015

A blend of the company’s oldest reserves, this rum is something else. Selected rums aged for long years in the Caribbean are painstakingly blended by our cellar master at Chateau de Bonbonnet then matured in small French oak casks for a further 12 to 18 months. Double aging gives the rum an incomparably round and creamy palate.

Best Rum, You need to try this

Hands down the best bottle of Rum I have ever had. You literally can drink this straight on the rocks. It is so smooth and no bite. Excellent flavors, some tropical, some caramel. Just amazing. We had this after a wine tasting and the bottle is gone. No one mixed it, it was that good.
