Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao is an orange liqueur made the old way, built on brandy and Pierre Ferrand cognac rather than neutral spirit, and flavored with the peel of Curaçao oranges. It was created to bring back the style of curaçao that classic bartenders once used.
The cognac is clear underneath. Expect bright, bitter orange peel, then sweet brown spice, a little turmeric and vanilla, balanced against a soft sweetness. It's long and elegant, and drier than most triple sec.
It's a bartender's favorite for a Margarita, Sidecar or Mai Tai, where it adds depth instead of just sugar. It's also nice neat over ice after dinner. If you make cocktails at home, this is a real upgrade.
