This 2020 Sablet opens with a beautiful bouquet, fruit and floral interlaced with a delightful terroir notes. The palate is intense and generous: chewy fruit yields to a lovely counterpoint of earthy loam and aged leather. The deep black-and-blue berry notes immediately recall the lush characteristics of the southern Rhone. This Sablet shows all the savoir-faire of exceptional Vacqueras and Gigondas.

Grenache with some Syrah picked from numerous plots around Sablet. It’s dark, spicy, and smooth on the palate, while retaining an old school rusticity. The seductively rich fruit tapers to a long, elegant finish that persists with dry, finessed tannins and a light touch of oak.
