DESCRIPTION
Peju is a family winery in Rutherford, in the heart of Napa Valley. Cabernet Franc is usually a blending grape in Napa, so a bottling on its own is a nice change.
Cabernet Franc is lighter on its feet than Cabernet Sauvignon. Expect red and black cherry, raspberry and a little herb and pepper, with medium body and fine tannins. It's fresh and aromatic, and easy to like.
Serve it around 60-62F in a red wine glass. It goes well with roast pork, grilled chicken, lamb or a mushroom pizza. A good pick for Cabernet drinkers who want something a bit different, and a nice red to serve when the meal isn't steak.
