Kentucky Peerless, a family-run distillery with roots dating back to the 1800s, produces this unique toasted barrel rye. The whiskey begins with a high-rye mash bill, distilled using a copper continuous still, then matured in charred oak barrels before undergoing additional aging in toasted barrels. This secondary process enhances the depth of flavor, coaxing out rich layers of caramel, dark chocolate, and spice.
