Patz & Hall Chardonnay Hyde Vineyard 2014

Lovely candied orange zest aroma mingles with layers of guava, green apple, fennel and exotic jasmine. On the palate, this is the most acidic and mineral-driven of our 2014 Chardonnays, with a lovely flowing texture, flinty minerality and a touch of smokiness. Aged in our subtlest tight-grained barrels, the oak is perfectly integrated, adding just a hint of roasted almond to the long, focused finish.

Elegantly styled and deftly balanced, with spicy oak, light pear, peach and nectarine flavors, shaded by subtle nutmeg notes. Gains depth and nuance.
