Oremus Late Harvest is a unique wine that combines tradition and innovation, offering a new concept among the winery's offerings. It serves as an ideal introduction to the magical world of Tokaj's sweet treasures. This wine is produced using a blend of different grape varieties, including Furmint, which provides a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness, Hárslevelű for mellowness and a silky texture, Kövérszőlő and Zéta for increased mellowness and fruitiness, and the golden Sárga Muskotály that enhances the nose of the wine. The grapes used must have at least half Aszú noble berries, indicating a significant degree of noble rot. The late harvest must ferments slowly, often continuing until the winery roofs are covered in ice and snow, and fermentation naturally halts at around 12% alcohol. The wine then rests for six months in small wooden barrels in underground wineries and is aged for an additional year in the bottle. Noted for its floral tones mixed with mellow and citric hints, Oremus Late Harvest has a fine and elegant nose, and is rich and persistent on the palate. The fine acidity and sweet fruitiness create a perfect balance.
