• Certified organic vineyard and dry-farmed (non-irrigated) • 90% Nero d’Avola, 10% Negroamaro, (90% 2024 + 10% 2022) • Sourced from Bricarelli Ranch (Ukiah, Mendocino County) • dry-farmed • Planted in 2005 • Farmed by Martha Stoumen using only organic principles • Gravelly loam soils • Hand-harvested • Macerated on skins and stems overnight (Vino di una notte or ‘one night wine’) before pressing • Fermented and aged on fine lees in neutral vessels before blending • Blended with a small percentage of Nero d’Avola rosato from the 2022 vintage • Unfined • Filtered for stability • 12.5% abv
