DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
Distilled from potato spirit, which almost nobody does with gin, and it shows in the texture: silky and noticeably thicker than a grain-based gin. Piney juniper and citrus zest on the nose with a musky note of ginger and angelica, then lemon and orange peel, juniper, fennel and aniseed on the palate. Clean, warm, lightly spiced finish. 43.5%, made in Austria by Altvater Gessler, and priced far below what it drinks like.
