DESCRIPTION

The hills of Roero lie southeast of Turin. This has been the cradle of the Arneis grape for centuries. This small white grape thrives on the varied soil of lime and sand.  Francesco Monchiero makes a particularly beautiful Roero Arneis at Monchiero Carbone. It is a beautiful light yellow colored wine with a spicy fruity aroma of ripe white fruit and flowers. 

The fragrant, dry taste is nice and powerful and fresh. The mild aftertaste is persistent and ends with a soft bitter. A delicious white wine to serve with risotto alla Milanese or spaghetti con vongole.
