Owing to the situation of the vineyard, Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Les Petits Monts is a wine of great complexity. With a discreet acidity and fine tannins, this wine is characterized by perfumes suggestive of ripe fruits and essence of flowers.
Scents of woodland undergrowth and humus mingle with those of brandied cherries and peony, later tending towards aromas of leather and animals. Sometimes smoky, in the mouth it is ample, pure, and velvety. Its finesse and elegance make it a very harmonious wine.
