DESCRIPTION
Jean-Claude Taddei founded Maison Jaune in 2013, naming it after the old yellow farmhouse above the vines. It is a tiny estate, 1.5 hectares of Pineau d'Aunis and Chenin on grey and green schist. He picks by hand, presses slowly, and ages about a year in French oak. Light, fresh and peppery, with red berry fruit and the spice this grape is known for.
