Sous le Puits sits high on the hill above Puligny, cooler than the famous crus below it, which shows in the tension. Pale yellow, with brioche and vanilla on the nose and flint, grapefruit rind and chalk behind them. The palate is precise and mineral, with a rounded texture holding the acidity together. James Suckling gave the 2023 95 points.
