Maison Louis Latour is one of the oldest family-owned houses in Burgundy, based in Beaune. This is its Bourgogne Pinot Noir, a regional red that gives you the Burgundy style at an everyday price.
Bright, deep ruby. Expect cherry aromas, then a fresh, round palate with blackcurrant bud notes and silky tannins. It's light and easy, the kind of red that goes with almost anything.
Serve it slightly cool, around 58-60F. Try it with grilled meats, roast chicken, salmon or mature cheese. A good house red for Pinot Noir lovers and an easy introduction to Burgundy. Latour has been making wine in Burgundy for more than two centuries, so this is a safe, classic choice.
