Brooding and dark blackberry with hints of five spice, cocoa nibs and fresh honey. Open and inviting on the palate with flavors of chocolate and savory boysenberry.
The fruit from the 2.85 acre block is wholly Pommard clone. The vineyard was planted in 1980. Wines from this site are the firmest and most structured. They have great longevity.
