• Single malt Highland Scotch whisky produced by Loch Lomond Distillery in Alexandria, Scotland • Made from 95% unpeated and 5% peated Scottish malted barley • 92-hour fermentation in stainless steel washbacks • Distilled on 2 types of copper pot still: traditional swan neck stills and Loch Lomond’s signature “Lomond” cylindrical neck pot stills (pot still with a short cylindrical neck containing 3 rectifying plates and fitted with a cooling ring) • Aged 5–8 years in 3 types of American oak casks: 1st-fill bourbon, 1st-fill re-charred American oak, and refill American oak; non-age statement • Malted barley and orchard fruit on the nose—with a hint of smoke and peat—are amplified on the palate turning into sweet cereal and pear framed by citrus and vanilla with a balanced, medium finish with lingering peat • Non-chill filtered; bottled at 46% ABV A superb introduction to The Glengarry’s single malts, this non-age-stated whisky is an elegant, instantly likeable sipper that’s priced to deliver should one include it in cocktails.
