- Blended Highland Scotch whisky produced by Loch Lomond Distillery in Alexandria, Scotland
- Made from 5% unpeated malted Scottish barley, 10% peated malted Scottish barley, and 85% single Scottish grain
- 92-hour fermentation in stainless steel washbacks
- Distilled on all 4 of the distillery's still types: barley is distilled on traditional swan neck stills, a Coffey column still, and Loch Lomond's signature “Lomond” cylindrical-neck pot stills ; grain is distilled on a column still
- Aged 5 to 8 years in 3 types of American oak casks: 1st-fill bourbon, 1st-fill re-charred American oak, and refill American oak; non-age statement
- Aromas of golden barley on the nose lead to a palate of orchard fruits and toffee highlighted by orange zest and a mild, slightly peaty finish
- Non-chill filtered; bottled at 40% ABV Smooth and fruit-forward with a faint wisp of peat smoke, this carefully crafted blended whisky punches way above weight for its price point. Serve neat, on the rocks, or tall with soda; in capable hands, this whisky could be the foundation for an elevated Rusty Nail
