Asombroso Tequila Gran Reserva Extra Anejo Tequila 100% de Agave |
Best of the Best by the prestigious Rob Report and awarded top tequila by the Worlds Spirit Competition
To become our Gran Reserva, our 100% blue agave Silver is aged in new French oak barrels. This gives our premium extra añejo a full-bodied taste that critics have compared to an aged cognac or Armagnac. To fully appreciate the experience, we recommend serving Gran Reserva in a snifter rather than a shot glass.
TASTING NOTES
At first you are pleasantly surprised by the sweet, delicate, honey-like opening nose; the honey component expands to include vanilla, buttercream and toffee, yielding to a smooth caramel finish.

Tequila is missing in shipment
I wouldn't know as I have not received my bottle. I have inquired twice and have not received info from Wine Chateau.
Awesome Asombrosso
This 5 year extra anejo is my favorite tequila but prices have risen lately. I was happy to find it at Wine Chateau at a good price and ordered 8 bottles. They came promptly, each wrapped and tapped secure, then packed in peanuts. Great service. Will be ordering again.
Sweet vanilla yellow cake
The nose of this tequila is sweet yellow cake batter, as if you were mixing a box of Duncan Hines. It’s not overwhelming nor chemical-like in any way. It’s subtle with tones of vanilla and agave, and finishes with a hint of honeydew melon and vanilla wafer with a slight ethanol close. I highly recommend.
