DESCRIPTION
Fuyu Mizunara Cask Finish is a blend of whiskey from Honshu Island, Japan. Young and playful, this blend is 50% malt, 50% mash corn and wheat . It's aged in casks made from a native oak in Japan, Mizunara.
The wood should be 200 years old before it can make the tightly-sealed casks. The whiskey is aged in new American white oak and finished the Mizunara. Mildly smoky with banana, caramel, and date on the palate, it has a pleasing roundness and spice. Enjoy on it's own as a sipper.
