Pale ruby in colour Nose: medium + nose evoking scents of red cherries and spices Palate:dry, medium bodied , developing , it has soft tannins and high acidity. Medium intensity of flavours, cherries, cranberries, raspberries , mushrooms and oak Moderate length.
Accurate, elegant, 'rectified' German oak-aged (80%: used casks) PN from sandstone soils of Centgraf Berg. Limpid ruby, very pale purple rim. Intriguing bouquet of raspberry, cranberry, forest floor, roasted cashew nuts, some spices, burnt pine. Sapid & harmonious palate of medium body with very delicate tannins & lively acidity. Scented by cranberry juice, raspberry, wild cherry, cornel, brushwood. Nicely long slightly bitter finish, accenting forest berries + pine bark undertone.
