Jeb Dunnuck A bright yellow color, the 2024 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast is elegant and pretty, with notes of white flowers, candied apples, preserved lemon-lime citrus, melon, and delicate vanilla. Coming from a grower program, it is refreshing and finely balanced. Chantal likes Wente for the phenolic structure, and 80% is fermented in barrel. She feels the 2024 Chardonnays have more longevity here. Medium to full-bodied, this wine has appealing richness, refreshing acidity, and excellent balance without feeling weighty.
