The wine is dark red in the glass, almost black. The nose entices with cherry, licorice and chocolate. In the mouth the wine is very harmonious with a creamy, velvety fruit with a tannin structure that balances well with the high alcohol. The wine shows good structure and complexity, which fades into a long aftertaste. WOW – this is Southern Italian dream wine! Ideal with lamb, red meat and mature firm cheeses.
