Farm To Table Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

This wine is a dense dark red with youthful purple hues. On the nose are aromas of dark blackberry fruits, oak spice, and hints of chocolate. The palate is ripe and rich with dark cherry and plum flavors.

Enjoy with a chunky beef and mushroom pie and your favorite side salad.

Unfortunately this wine doesn't seem to be holding up well. The color is fading and so is the nose. There are currants, raspberries, dried leaves and some floral notes, but the fruit feels a little tired and some volatility is setting in. The palate offers an appealing tang of fruit, but texturally it's lean and angular with some bitterness creeping in on the finish and heat from the alcohol.
